Among the 2026 international graduates at Tianjin University's School of Chemical Engineering and Technology, 56% are advancing to postgraduate study, with two students awarded EU EMJMD (European Union Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree) full funding.

At the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Tianjin University, a total of 16 international students graduated this year, including 13 from English-taught undergraduate program and 3 from Chinese-taught program. The cohort records an overall postgraduate admission rate of 56%, with multiple students admitted to top-tier universities worldwide, marking solid progress in the school's international talent cultivation.
THWE YEE WIN THANT from Myanmar has received admission offers from both Tsinghua University and the EU EMJMD program. She has decided to further her studies in chemical engineering for sustainability and circular economy by pursuing the fully funded EU Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Program.
HOSEN MD SAJIB from Bangladesh obtained admission to the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master program focusing on hydrogen energy.
Additionally, HOR SZE WEI from Malaysia was admitted to Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), a top global engineering university, for postgraduate study in chemical engineering.
While some international students pursue further studies abroad, others opt to build their careers in China. Four graduates have indicated a preference for local employment, and two will soon join domestic chemical firms to start their professional careers.

The remarkable achievements of the 2026 international student cohort are a testament to their hard work, as well as the School’s excellence in international education and robust global education capabilities. Going forward, the School will keep refining the full-English training framework, innovate training modes and broaden international cooperation, to nurture top-tier chemical engineering professionals with global perspectives and core expertise.
